Hmm... There was a hacker a few cases back.

They were drawing lonely men into a specific URL in virtual reality. While their mental data was occupied, somebody else took their bodies, selling them off for parts. Those men were never able to log out. There was nothing to return to.

I didn't think I could get surprised by a murder. [wow he sounds so grateful to know this happened] How did you catch them?

They were working with a business man and happened to give my assistant the URL. From there it was fairly easy to track down the source and deal with them.

Does that mean they were careless, or that your assistant is particularly convincing?

They didn't expect a high school student to be a detective. I'd say it's simply foolishness on their part.
