I wouldn't say my tastes compare to D's, but I enjoy sweets from time to time. [pokes at his mcflurry with the spoon.] Though I'm less familiar with these kinds, I admit.

Although not quite a dessert, azuki porridge is a staple of my homeland.

That aside, red bean in general is quite popular, as well as things like steamed pears, sweet dumplings, or rice cakes or rice pudding. I've found those to be less common outside of the Hinoeuma regions.
