That aside, red bean in general is quite popular, as well as things like steamed pears, sweet dumplings, or rice cakes or rice pudding. I've found those to be less common outside of the Hinoeuma regions.
Mm... It's not quite to my taste, though in the end, food is food. I've had worse rations. At the end of the day, it's difficult not to appreciate anything that fills one's stomach.
