More the City as a whole than the Library. What I'm used to is-- no one really caring this much when people die, I guess. We don't have trials like this... if it was someone you knew, then maybe you can do something about it yourself, or hire someone... provided you can afford it. Otherwise, they're all going to look the other way, and if you die at night in most of the City, that's... more or less considered your own fault.
I don't mind the way people here are, though. It isn't a bad kind of different at all.
If I were you, I'd be more annoyed with them. They have a bad habit of pushing their ideals on other people, and they're limited to their own perspectives.
[rang like actually im team netzach now as if this trial for the murder did not put netzach in the hot spot specifically,]
If they had all proven to be a bit more understanding... then maybe they could have learned the truth.
They have those ideals in the first place though, you know? That's... something most people in the City are missing.
[stoppp you have your own team rang im crying
he smiles slightly, though, despite- you know. still feeling ill.]
... they're more understanding than you might think. That's actually what made today the way it was-- I keep talking to people who thought it must be you guys, but they didn't want that to be the answer. They were hoping there was another one to find, instead. Looking for something else.

[he smiles though, to show that it's not meant rudely,]

[but he'd make it anyway, so-- you know.]
So- what now.
no subject
I'm not as kind as Buzen and the others, you know? I don't care if everyone still has questions.
no subject
Keeping the preparations to yourself, too?
no subject
It's something you'll only know if you volunteer.
no subject
[he's just curious, at this point.]
no subject
Maybe they'll pick a name out of the hat, just to keep things fun.
no subject
[but there's no accusation or anything, he's just, like. he's just saying.]
Any options you don't want?
no subject
though at that, he looks briefly surprised, then]
...I don't want to see Haru.
no subject
[a little head shake, there. let's not make the teen do revenge he doesn't need this.]
At least there's probably enough of us who could manage in that position, so... decent odds.
no subject
I think everyone who volunteers thinking that it's me should be prepared.
I'm not Guifei. I'm perfectly fine with killing them so I can move on to the next week.
no subject
Take someone out that way, and I kinda doubt their team would just let it go.
[maybe not just their team, given how people are here.]
no subject
It'd make Thursday interesting at least. Maybe I'll stay with them, to make things easier.
[hmmm]
Or maybe I'll die earlier. Has Kaveh done anything with that jail of his yet?
no subject
I don't know though. Everyone here is... different from what I'm used to, so maybe they would.
no subject
What are you used to then? In that big library of yours?
no subject

he makes a face,]
That kind of thinking almost got you instead. Or would you still have been as understanding while deciding who in your team should get erased?
no subject
It wouldn't be much of a decision, right? It's gotta be me anyway.
no subject
You think your teammates would let you volunteer?
no subject
no subject
Well, it's not a bad idea. [to talk about it,] I can't imagine the blond one agreeing though.
[be nice to zelda]
